Something to be said for choosing to be…

Often times in life things happen we aren’t prepared for or see coming.

Sometimes it’s the Lord, sometimes it’s the enemy, and sometimes it’s just life.

Sometimes these events are tests, sometimes temptations, and sometimes

opportunities. The sources of these unexpected events are not always easily

discerned. The direction they come from is not always crystal clear. In times like

these we are to judge slowly, react scripturally, pray earnestly and trust explicitly.

Resist reacting without the Holy Spirit’s authorization and always remember if

you don’t want it don’t sow it. In my life, I have had to admit, confess and repent

that some of what I have experienced in the negative wasn’t from an attack of the

enemy or even a failed test from the Lord but simply reaping from the seed that I

had sown. But through it all and above it all is an all wise, loving and merciful

God who promised that all things would work together for good for those who

love Him and are called according to His purpose. I believe that even the mistakes

we make, the errors in judgment we have commit, and the bad seed we

sometimes sow when confessed and repented of God will turn and work for good.

At the very least, we become a little more like Him and a little less like us.
